About Us:
Our department is committed to providing specialized care for a wide spectrum of respiratory conditions, including but not limited to Tuberculosis, Asthma, Pneumonia, COPD, Pleural disorders, Respiratory failure, lung malignancies, Autoimmune diseases, and sleep disorders. With a focus on delivering accurate diagnoses and effective treatments, we strive to enhance the quality of life for our patients.

Services We Offer:

Diagnostic Intervention Procedures: Our skilled team conducts various diagnostic procedures to accurately assess respiratory conditions. These include Pulmonary Function Tests (PFT), Spirometry, Diffusing Capacity of the Lungs for Carbon Monoxide (DLCO), and more.

TB Sensitization Programs: We actively collaborate with the National Tuberculosis Elimination Program (NTEP) to provide services to TB patients nationwide. Additionally, we conduct regular sensitization programs for faculty, postgraduates, staff nurses, and interns to enhance awareness and knowledge.

 

Interventional Pulmonology Unit: Equipped with advanced technology, our unit offers services like bronchoscopy, medical thoracoscopy, bronchoalveolar lavage, bronchial biopsy, pleural biopsy, and pleurodesis. These interventions aid in accurate diagnosis and targeted treatment.

 

Inpatient Services: Our department provides 30 beds, including a dedicated 6-bed ward for Drug-Resistant Tuberculosis (DRTB) patients. This ensures comprehensive and specialized care for individuals with respiratory ailments.
